Front matter: For those of us obsessed with personal-sites, the “now page” has become common parlance. Although my own little website is new — just launched in January of 2026— I am no neophyte to the world of living on the web, except now I intend on the unfoldenment of my own little world versus inhabiting the world’s of others. I figured taking the baton from Derek Sivers would be an apt place to start.
Currently (Last update: 01/02/2026)
- Under the banner of The Office of Organoleptic Opportunity, I’m developing my first restaurant-as-publishing experiment: Haboob — a reflection on my ethnicity (maternal side), temporality, and hospitality-as-care.
- I’m starting a business around my cooking and photography. I’ve been photographing my food for a long time now, and it feels like time to test the mettle (are my skills up to snuff? pretty much). There are many thoughts around positioning, offers, and marketing — all of which I’m working through here. The business is called Side of House. I have an obnoxious amount of recorded thought to filter through, so as I self-organize I’ll be writing about it here (look for the moniker to stay involved). Expect business things — market, audience, offers, value props, differentiation — alongside stranger concerns like prop curation, set design, and the occasional odd thought.
- It’s been nearly a decade since stepping away from wrestling and any kind of formalized training regimen. I’ve become physically deconditioned, mentally weaker, and spiritually… less charged? In 2026, I’m hoping to reclaim some of the competitive mojo of my youth.
- I’m researching as a way of propagating a Discourse around my practice(s). If I had to distill it to one word, it would be narrative. Although the threads themselves are disparate, fractal, visual and textual, abstract and metaphorical, I **believe they amicably unite to achieve its primary function: the suspension of disbelief. This space is called Narrative Apparatus Lab.
